Sheet metal stamping

Sheet metal stamping is one of the predominant technological aspects at Tabor, being an area of strong investment and know-how.

Through the stamping process, we can obtain the plastic deformation of the metallic material using a varied set of operations, such as bending, cutting and punching, through which a flat plate is submitted to mechanical transformations, transforming it into a new geometric shape.

This plastic deformation (stamping) is obtained using presses, to which progressive or "step-by-step" system production tools are attached.

The maximum capacity of our stamping presses is 315 tons in mechanical presses or 160 tons in hydraulic presses.
